The Merchandise Manager plays a key role in building collections for Indochino. As Merchandise Manager you'll develop, execute and communicate merchandise plans and strategies that support merchandising, marketing and financial objectives.

This position is based in Shanghai, China.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Establish clear merchandise assortments for online and offline collections
? Work with creative director and CCO on merchandising strategy and collection concepts
? Responsible for the product lifecycle for all merchandise categories
? Manage the merchandising/launch process; coordinate launch among various teams in SH/Vancouver
? Oversee product page creation and give final approval of product/collection pages prior to launch
? Select product assortment for offline events, oversee sampling/shipping process
THE REQUIREMENTS:

? Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
? 7+ years of experience in a merchant /buyer role
Strong retail math skills including open to buy and retail planning
? Demonstrate abilities in learning new skills, change/variety in work and creativity.
? Displays a strong fashion sense
? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
? Ability to remain flexible & adaptable in an everchanging environment.
? Travel to North America as required
? Fluency in Chinese is an asset
