Responsibility Level:

 

• Responsible for managing a team with R&D functions.
• Assure product development activities are accomplished according to agreed deadlines, scope, product costs and project costs.
• Assure the global product strategy is implemented in China market.
• Develop the competences and organizational capabilities of product engineering in China.

 

Typical Duties:

 

• Cooperate on the development and implementation of business unit strategy. Analyze technological trends on global and local markets, understanding new products, features and functions, competitors and suppliers.
• Manage new product launch via working closely with marketing, sales and supply chain.
• Manage and control pricing structure according to global strategy and China market.
• Prepare short and medium term planning of engineering resources. Set priorities for projects and sequence of engineering activities.
• Plan and monitor budget of PM team related to own resources and engineering services.
• Assure the customer technical requirements are analyzed and the make sure the product concept is defined. Assure an efficient technical communication with customers, present the advantage of TUNAP products. Assure reliable reviews with customers, emphasizing TUNAP technical expertise.
• Assure the global product platform is taken in consideration and respected to minimize R&D expenses and enable global sourcing network. 
• Closely collaborate with sales team to assure appropriate and manageable project of planning activities. Support the monitoring and reporting of project progress and target achievement. Support risk assessment and actions definition.

 

 Requirements:

 

• At least 10 years’ experience in similar industry.
• 5+years in a management position in PM or related areas
• Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering or related engineering background.
• Good command of English in both spoken and written.
• Good command of MS Office general knowledge of SAP or ERP
