Supervisor: Head of Art and Design Technology

Job specification:

• Prepare equipment and materials, in preparation for lessons.
• To service and maintain equipment and machinery in the workshops.
• Practical assistance during lessons to aid pupil progress, as and when required.
• Manufacture resources, as required, for class demonstration and pupil use.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept in a safe manner and ready to use by staff / pupils.
• Order and replenish materials, using Excel to manage the department budget.
• Ordering from both Chinese and overseas suppliers, receiving, monitoring and maintaining stock.
• Attend meetings, training, and carry out administrative tasks and duties as requested.
• To assist with displaying work, and exhibitions, to promote the department.
• To help organize and attend trips, or visits to museums.
• Consistently implement all whole school policies.
• Report any safeguarding concerns immediately to the Head of Department.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Head of Department.
