The ideal candidate is a highly independent self-starter with two or three years of retail/e-commerce operations experience. The primary focus of the Digital Localization Project Coordinator is to act as the liaison between E-commerce teams, localization agencies, internal functions and other service providers to coordinate, innovate, and drive localization content deliveries and operations in a fast-paced E-commerce environment.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate online assets (product copy) localization request and manage deliverables.  

• Be responsible for content update and publishing in E-commerce system and communicate with global counterpart for any improvement suggestions if needed.

• Classify and scrutinize cross functions emails about localization requests on the daily basis.

• Maintain the content repository. Provide support to internal content related queries if needed.

• Vendor performance data tracking by leveraging excel and other analysis tools

• Act as a door keeper to monitor QA process and enable high quality and be on-call to implement changes when needed.

• Be adaptable to Localization strategy on diverse E-commerce platforms and familiar with localization technology/process.

• Manage localization function related administrative work

Experience/Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and above

• Two or three years related working experience preferred

• Localization knowledge is preferred

• Fluent English and Mandarin

• Basic understanding of modern Web-based technologies and general E-Commerce

• Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication is a must

• Attention to detail and process

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize, flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure, deadline oriented environment

• Must be able to deliver high quality work consistently and on time

• Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and applications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Self-motivated with positive attitude and proactive thinking 

• E-commerce/retail industry experience will be a plus
