职位描述

Summary:    The Assistant Magic Manager is responsible for maintaining consistently high standards of operation and customer service in regards to guest requests and other services provided within the department and ensuring that all communications relating to the Hotel, external and internal, are actioned speedily and efficiently. In addition, as the Assistant Manager to the Magic Manager, this position is to support the Magic Manager’s role in guaranteeing employee satisfaction and development while maintaining inventory and cost levels. CORE VALUES CustomersTo know who our customers are and provide them with the product and service they want. PeopleTo manage the department’s human resources effectively and be aware of his/her responsibility to train and develop the team.To work as and enjoy being part of a team, pulling together to provide excellent service.   Quality  To ensure that the customer is provided with an exceptional product with exceptional team members in terms of service and flexibility. ProfitTo ensure that sales are maximised through answering the customers needs and that costs are controlled without compromising quality.  RESPONSIBILITIES:     ·         Ensure and maintain the security of information relating to customers and team members in the hotel·         Supervise the entire operation of the department and ensure that a high level of customer service is consistently maintained·         Deal efficiently and courteously with all customers’ requests by monitoring and following up with the according team members and correct channels·         Ensure the well being and engagement of all MAGIC service and call agents, compile departmental working schedules and ensure that departmental meetings are held on a regular basis in addition to daily briefings·         Actively retain talent and reduce employee turnover·         Ensure that staffing levels are kept to cover business expectations through necessary recruitment activities, that training is carried out on an ongoing basis, that development within the department is facilitated for all staff members and that reviews are carried out with all members of the team·         Train and shadow all new team members according to the training schedule and whenever coaching is required on a daily basis·         Ensure standards and procedures are set and understood·         Ensure the correct operation of the MAGIC Department·         Maximize sales and revenue for the hotel by maintaining a sales attitude at all times·         Work within all pre-set budgetary limits·         Create reports to understand the performance of the MAGIC Department·         Delegate tasks and long-term projects to Team Leaders and Senior Team Members to develop their leadership and responsibility for the team·         Ensure the complete knowledge of all systems used in the MAGIC Department·         Effect the fast and efficient monitoring and follow up of guest requests·         Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and local area·         Ensure the Magic Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from customers, team members and other departments·         Perform any required Service Recovery and make sure the guest leaves satisfied·         To be fully conversant with the Hotel Emergency and Evacuation procedures·         To be well informed of specials of the day, promotions, and daily events etc.·         Ensure PAR level of amenities and restock daily·         To be fully conversant with manual Front Office procedures to be used in the event of the Hotel’s systems being off-line·         This position includes night shift work as well as early and late shifts on a rotating basis·         Ensure grooming within the department is in line with the Hotel policy·         Must know all Hotel products and services and actively recommend to our guests·         Develop staff for future promotions through training, cross exposure and continuous coaching and counseling·         Ensure that there is a thorough hand over at the completion of each shift·         Motivate colleagues and create a team environment through living Blue Energy·         Any other duties assigned by Management  SPECIFICATIONS:      ·         Fluent in English and Mandarin.  Other languages will be beneficial.·         A minimum of Diploma in Hospitality or experience equivalent.·         At least 2 years experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.·         Knowledge of PMS, POS, FCS, PABX and other related software will be beneficial.
