Position Focus:

This position is responsible for implementing and supporting the plant product line Manufacturing Execution System (MES) activities of projects.

Job Description:

? The position has the responsibility to participate and responsible on-site (within AP region) Manufacturing Execution System(MES) implementation, configuration, data maintenance and knowledge transferring. Assist global Team to rollout LPS (Lear’s MES system), continuously improve system performance and users’ skills. 

? LPS is a Lear proprietary manufacturing execution system (MES) written in-house.  The primary function of LPS is to communicate with shop floor devices on the production line ensuring expected test results and outcomes are obtained.

? Act LPS post-implementation support level 2.

? To rank and prioritize the project requests from the countries and divisions

? Ensure project requirements are achieved in a timely fashion and within budget guidelines.

? Assembles project team, identifies needed resources, assigns responsibilities and develops timeframes to facilitate successful completion of project activities and deliverables.

? Ensures compatibility and consistency with existing architectural and enterprise standards.

Qualification:

? Bachelor degree or above in information technology/automation

? 4+ years working experience in special/similar machinery industry, job experience in automotive industry is a plus

? Working experience in MES system is necessary.

? Good Knowledge in windows server, network and database administration (SQL Server), and software development

? Good understanding of PLC. 

? Experience with coding practices such as C# and ZPL would be beneficial.

? Reasonable level in English reading, writing, and speaking

? Willing to travel, approximate 40% travels.

? Logical troubleshooting ability to quickly determine the source of a problem and implement a fix

? Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with stakeholders and senior business leadership of departments and agencies participating in this project. 

? Ability to organize and work effectively with project teams of staff from internal department and outside resources participating in this effort.
