Logistics Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Customer, Forwarders, Warehouse to perform daily order processing, handle in & out shipment process, declaration of import and export goods, customs clearance procedure
- Assist & coordinate with subordinate, vendors, customers in handling local/ overseas delivery schedule
- Liaise with internal and external parties to maintain a smooth operation of supply chain system
- Ensure continuity of product supply and timely goods delivery to our customers by process good management in inventory planning, order management, good efficiency of storage & movement / dispatch of goods, etc.
- Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of a warehouse, and the incoming, storage, and dispatch of goods
- Maintain accurate inventory count and records through the use of a computerized inventory system
- Establish and manage relations with warehouses, ocean carriers, customs broker, drayage providers, sales force and customers
- Oversee and manage stock level in warehouse
- Plan and arrange logistics required shipments
- Support simplification and standardization of logistics processes
- Assist audits of vendor invoices and month-end processing to incorporate finance accruals
- Develop, articulate and maintain logistic process documentation
- Oversee after-sales services
- Manage logistics and Customer services for China market
- Analyze data and statistics and assist in yearly department review
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or above
- At least 3 - 5 yearsof supply chain or logistics management experience. Knowledge in handlingfurniture is an advantage
- Experience in bonded warehouse is an advantage
- Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Passionate in retail industry and ambitious to grow with the company
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong sense of responsibility
- Be comfortable to learn our products and modular capabilities
- Multi-tasking, good team player, detail-minded, well-organized, self-motivated & able to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft AX and ERP applications, Word, Excel & Power-point. Knowledge in Vlookup and Pivot Table is an advantage.
- Candidate with more experience will be considered for a higher position
- Immediate availability is preferred
