Overall Purpose of Job:

The purpose of the job is to lead and supervise all of the hydraulic brake system engineering tasks in a consulting role which involve brake system sizing, brake system integration, brake system problem solving.
The job will also involve the hydraulic brake system benchmark in planning, supervising and coordinating with VA for vehicle level tests implementation, building and maintaining benchmarking database about hydraulic brake system specifications and performance.
The job will also involve the build, maintenance and update in database of legal requirements, national standards and certification standards.



Major Responsibilities:

? To lead and supervise the hydraulic brake system engineering tasks
? To act in a key role to understand OEM's brake system performance requirements and translate them into TRW engineering language as guidance to the TRW internal development team
? To lead hydraulic brake system sizing
? To act in a key role / project leader during brake system integration project
? Build up a center of excellence for Hydraulic brake system problem resolution
? To lead to build, maintain the benchmarking database for hydraulic brake system specification and performance
? To lead to build, maintain the database for legal requirements, national standards and certification standards.

Requirement:
? Must have good knowledge and understanding for the working principle of the hydraulic brake system
? Must have good knowledge and understanding for mechanical braking components, including front & rear brakes, brake actuation, ABS/ESC, brake pedal system, etc
? good level presentation skills
? a good team player with leadership qualities
? Willing to travel (domestic and international) and maybe work overtime
