Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Characteristics:

 

1.     Provide onsite application support for accounting systems in Guangzhou

2.     Response to user requests, incidents and problems on a timely manner

3.     Resolve or coordinate the resolution of issues with other internal teams and/or the vendor

4.     Escalate issues in an effective manner

5.     Ensure issues are reported, tracked, followed up timely

6.     Communicate and provide status updates on issues to business users, management team and other stakeholders.

7.     Document operation procedures, contribute to knowledgebase and cross train other team members

8.     Consolidate and analysis issue log.  Meet with IT application solution team regularly to review and monitor improvement plan

 

Education and Experience

 

1.     Bachelor’s degree in IT / Accounting, or any related field.

2.     At least 3 years of experiences in application support

 

Key competencies

1.     A background in trading, and more specifically in accounting

2.     Proven track record in maintenance & support of business critical applications while realizing operational efficiencies

3.     Must possess and display strong verbal and written communication skills (English & Chinese).  Cantonese is a advantage.

4.     Analytical, intuitive, and a strong problem-solver

5.     Trouble shooting and problem solving

6.     Good understanding of change, incident & problem management methodologies

7.     Practical knowledge of change, incident & problem management tools

8.     Strong team player
