Roles and Responsibilities

As a key member of the Global Strategy Group (GSG) in China, you will support the team in the development of go-to-market materials, client deliverables, internal and external communications, and event collateral and help manage various campaigns.

Key responsibilities

- Design and produce marketing material including thought leadership, talkbooks, infographics and presentation slides

- Provide professional and functional presentation graphics support on deliverables / bids that align with business needs and which adhere to KPMG / client’s corporate style and brand

- Provide technical knowledge and the ability to finalise ongoing projects and manage rapid response requests for design, print and electronic deliverables within the KPMG brand

- Determine project scope including effective brief taking, negotiating deadlines, and creating and communicating timelines

- Pursue, share and champion design best practices within GSG

- Excellent knowledge and application of KPMG’s visual identity; promote awareness of visual identity in the business. Keep up to date with the evolution of KPMG’s brand

- In consultation with GSG leadership, mentor and develop colleagues where necessary to up-skill the team

- Work with team members to implement and drive internal initiatives / projects which contribute to an enhanced service offering and promote awareness within KPMG

- Assist project teams and consultants with creative / visual interpretation of concepts and key messages in a KPMG branded document

- Flexibility to meet consultant and project team demands in order to produce the required output

- Identify and initiate improvements to the design and execution of presentation graphics material

- Provide technical assistance and best practice guidance on branding to KPMG staff in the creation, layout and processing or amendment of company reports, documents, screen presentations, and other formats

- Proof read documents for typographical errors and inconsistencies in layout

Skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working with staff at all levels

- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail

- Excellent time management skills

- Good project management and problem solving skills

- Advanced technical skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Acrobat

- Advanced technical skills in design programs such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

- Proficiency in animation software, animated pdf, flash etc. is a plus

- Confident working with document scanning and PDF creation, manipulation and security

- Remain calm under pressure

- Strong command of written and spoken English

- Customer service focused, and able to liaise and influence staff at all levels

- Professional, confident and enthusiastic team player with a flexible can-do attitude

- Work effectively in a team environment, including co-working on projects, co-developing ideas, giving and receiving constructive feedback

- Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise an often conflicting workload

- Excellent work ethic and the ability to thrive in a time-sensitive environment. Flexible and adaptable to a fluctuating workflow

- Adapt to a constantly changing and growing business environment

Qualifications

- University degree or equivalent in a relevant field
