JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the President of China Operations for Kaelus, this position has responsibility for assuring the production of high quality products through the effective management of capabilities and key functions.

KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
? Plan and execute product transfer from abroad.
? Deliver products on time to meet business / customer commitments and to the appropriate quality and reliability standard
? Manufacturing process, structure and resource capabilities to be adequate to allow efficient and reliable manufacture.
? Minimise indirect manufacturing costs within budget rates
? Create a direct labour force to deliver products to the correct quality and with adequate flexibility to meet market place lead-times

ROLE OBJECTIVES
? Create an effective manufacturing structure with clear objectives and responsibilities and the culture of a high performance team
? Create a step change in discipline and process controls with an objective of zero audit defects in process control
? Create a manufacturing resource base which can flex readily to changes in demand

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Production Management
o Create a manufacturing supervision structure with clear responsibilities and accountabilities to ensure adequate line discipline and efficiency while taking full responsibility for meeting daily and weekly schedules.
o Develop and monitor near term and long term resource plans against production needs to ensure adequate capacity and flexibility to changes
o Escalate and draw on support to resolve problems in meeting plans.
o Monitor line performance to ensure through put and DL costs comply with requirements
o Ensure shop floor orders managed and system accurately maintained to reconcile with physical assets
2. Product and Process Compliance
o Ensure a clear understanding of accountability of all manufacturing personnel in meeting the companies requirements for complying with specific and general product and process controls
o Ensure an effective working relationship between production and quality personnel in understanding accountability and having adequate checks and controls to support compliance
3. Process Monitoring and efficiency.
o Ensure continuous monitoring of process yields and manufacturing efficiencies.
o Work closely with technical support personnel to provide timely support to lines to resolve urgent problems and support efforts for continuous improvement.
4. Material Management
o Ensure planning and purchasing personnel adequately skilled and effectively managed to ensure the on time delivery of materials from the supply chain is adequate to meet OTD requirements to customers and comply to business decisions on inventory levels.
o Ensure adequate verification processes in place to ensure inventory managed to business needs
o Ensure review processes effective in ensuring timely delivery of materials to the lines and effective escalation of material supply problems
o Ensure warehouse effectively managed to ensure timely and accurate kitting of materials to the line and ongoing accurate inventory management
o Ensure shipping processes efficient and effective to ensure accurate and timely despatch of products and materials
o Ensure shipping costs managed and controlled within business needs
5. Performance Reporting
o Create weekly and monthly reports to support immediate and continuous improvement efforts
Key Organizational Relationships
? Direct reporting to China Operations Director Kaelus
? Peer level working relationship with Total Quality Process Director and SCM Manager
? Networking relationships with other operations managers of Smiths Interconnect
Requirements:
o College education in technical field such as Electronics, Mechanics, major in RF is preferred；
o Must have at lease 3 years experience in RF antenna environment or relevant RF functions;
o Fully understanding of RF products testing, be familiar with RL, ISO, IMD, PATTERN, GAIN；
o Skilled experience in using any popular RF instruments (Such as network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator etc.),
o Guide line and train operators to use the RF equipment properly. Help production line to monitor the daily preventive maintenance
o BOM structure and be able to make document designs
o Work with process engineer, quality engineer and operation supervisor to do the root case analysis of quality issues
o Good command of English and computer;
o Good communications and problem solving skills.
