Job title:                     Intern – Market Intelligence

Purpose of the role:  To support Strategy & Market Intelligence team (China & Tokyo) on time-consuming standard/routine customer reports from various database and time-consuming desk research (customer information population/counting etc.)

 

Key tasks:

Perform the following tasks under instructions and coach:

Support Research Analyst (Shanghai and Tokyo) in generating standard/routine customer reports (usage, authorship etc.) from various databases

Support Research Analysts (Shanghai and Tokyo) in conducting desk research of potential customer information to support sales leads generation

Support Sr. Manager of Business Analysis & Development in more desk research and straightforward data analysis for others projects as needed

Need to know

Qualifications:

Undergraduate/graduate students at 211 universities

Capacity to work at least 4 days per week

Skills/knowledge:

Proficient in excel, skilled in pivot tableExcellent in both oral and written English, able to communicate with native English speakers via phone calls and emails

Proactive, result-oriented, detail-oriented, sensitive to data

Experience:

Prior experience in market research is preferred
