Summary Plans, develops, and conducts tests on electronic components, products, and systems
by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Development of software for the tests of electronic circuits.
Development of electronic circuits to test and verify electronic circuits.
Evaluation of test data from validation testing.
Development of testing procedures for the verification of electronic circuits
Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development,
procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required
to test, telemeter, record, and reduce test data.
Confers with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as
product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data and data interpretation.
Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic engineering
and management personnel.
Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and
systems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university in Electrical Engineering or
Electrical Engineering Technology; and 4-6 years related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Skills and Abilities
Programming skills in Visual Basic and Access
Ability to use bench test equipment
Experience with the integration of data acquisition hardware and software into personal
computers
