Responsibilities

- Assist the Product Engineer Manager to support customers with focus on product performance, cost, and quality
- Under the direction of the Product Engineer Manager, ensure that FPT Engine specifications/configurations meet customer vehicle requirements
- Coordinate the engine prototype development plan and vehicle testing plans
- Track field failures and support the solution development
- Provide technical support for spare engine parts and drawings
- Create and maintain open communication and teamwork to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Support continuous product improvement

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Engine & Mechanical Engineering
- 2 years of product engineering experience in Automotive Market (preferable OEMs, Tier 1 Supplier, Diesel Engine)
- Internship experience will be considered
- Project Management and Organization skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve issues successfully and negotiate appropriate actions
- Capable of dealing with sensitive matters in a professional and confidential way
- Ability to travel up to 20-33% of the working time to support the above defined activities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- CAD experience as a plus
- Knowledge of Italian language as a plus
