I. GENERAL SUMMARY

The Merchant Risk Monitoring Senior agent will be responsible for the review of PayPal Merchants applying for high risk products and features. The Merchant Monitoring process includes the use of PayPal data, external credit reports, and Merchant websites. The senior agent will interpret various pieces of data, apply rules, and make monitoring decisions. The Merchant Monitoring Senior Agent may be subject to material which some may consider offensive in performing the essential job duties of this position. Some travel may be required.

The Sr agent will also work closely with fraud ops, account review, chargeback and MS team to monitor selected merchant's transactions and activities. Actions should be taken to any circumstance with potential losses under chargeback, dispute and restrictions.

II. SPECIFIC DUTIES
? Review Merchant Monitoring queue items and related escalations in a timely manner
? Firm understanding of Merchant Monitoring Policies and Procedures
? Regular updates to management regarding trends and changes recognized during day to day Merchant Monitoring activities
? Provide input to improve Merchant Monitoring Policies and Procedures
? Work towards expanding individual Merchant Monitoring knowledge and share this knowledge with the management and the Merchant Monitoring Team
? Familiarity with PayPal tools and external data sources
? Assist with Merchant Monitoring training and updates as needed
? Cross-functional communication with groups such as Merchant Fraud, AUP/Compliance, and Merchant Risk Management
? The ability to easily understand, develop a solution, and apply logic to daily Merchant Monitoring issues
? Assist management with Special Projects
? Assist in creating a high energy, positive and productive environment
? Maintain a working knowledge of any changes to the Fair Credit Reporting act (FCRA)
? Work with peers to leverage best practices and understand new trends.
? Exceed productivity and quality standards while working in assigned queues
? Provide support in all aspects of Risk Operations and serve as a knowledgeable resource to team members
? Provide leadership, guidance and assistance to peer employees by answering questions, providing feedback on Merchant Monitoring issues, and supporting all areas of Risk Operations as needed
? Continually display initiative to take on additional responsibilities toward professional growth
? Communicate with PayPal personnel, customers or outside agencies verbally and written, in a professional manner
? Other duties as assigned by Management
