Main Focus and Challenges:

The Marketing Manager of China is responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. The role will lead the marketing team and work closely with sales leaders and functional leaders to achieve objectives. This position will have to be based in Shanghai

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop annual marketing plan, focusing on meeting organizational objectives.
• Manage the marketing department budget. Deliver all marketing activities within agreed budget.
• Be responsible for market analysis to identify market trends and key growth opportunities, thus to develop long term growth strategy.
• Be responsible for competition analysis to identify key strength, weakness, threat in terms of product and service, channel, operation and engineering capabilities.
• Work closely with sales team and business development team to develop business case for sustainable growth.
• Specify market requirements for current and future products as input of new product development and value-add vale engineering by conducting market research supported by voice of customer survey.
• Manage all aspects of sales and marketing tools, publications and promotional materials and items.
• Identify potential acquisition targets and provide input on M&A possibility.

Requirement:

• University first degree or equivalent, MBA preferred
• At least 5 years’ experience in relevant position, past experience in MNC flow control business is preferred
• Demonstrate business acumen including financial understanding, management skills and negotiation skills
• Independent yet a team player, result-oriented, strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Self-driven, self-motivated, innovative and creative; strategic thinking and acting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively influence stakeholders
• Cultural sensitivity, strong work ethics
• Excellent presenter
