We are currently looking for a Senior Operation Manager to head and further strengthening our Procurement, Logistics and Internal Sales departments. The role will be based at our office in Shanghai.

 

Role Summary

You will lead a team of Logistics and IT. Furthermore, you will work closely together with our partners and suppliers as well as internally with Finance, Product Development and Procurement, You will report directly to our Managing Director.

 

As Senior Operation Manager, you will be responsible for operating and optimizing the process from an order is received until it is delivered to our customers. You will lead the departments and improve the processes and guidelines for the combined organization.

 

Further responsibilities include:

1. Drive the implementation of supply chain processes, support projects for business development

2. Communicate and coordinate with the Sales for best understand the customer demand on volume forecast, delivery, quality and potential localization needs

3. Manage the order to delivery process, in terms of payment, product availability, compliance, lead-time, logistics arrangement and documentation to drive operation efficiency. Ensure customer service activities are fully compliance with high standard.

4. Drive improvement initiatives to standardize and optimize the existing process for whole procedure and maximize customer satisfaction (eg. ERP process)

5. Promotes and uses strategic suppliers. Establish preferred supplier selection criteria based on supplier evaluations of price, quality, delivery, certifications, and compliance with governmental procurement regulations. Continuously improve the supplier base and suppliers’ performance for best needs of the business strategy

6. Analyze logistics costs, lead times and supply chain footprint on orders and make recommendations on how to optimize performance and/or lower cost

7. Responsible for the finished goods, slow moving and obsolete (SLOB) and other inventory at warehouse to deliver working capital targets.

8. Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations and customer demand

9. Develop and build necessary skills in the organization by training, coaching and oversight

 

Qualification requirements

1. Bachelor degree or higher with major in either Supply Chain management or Finance combined with commercial experience or in Economics with technical flair.
2. 10 years of managerial experience in the field of Supply Chain and in particular Logistics from an international company. Experience from Procurement, process optimization and consumer wholesale business is also a plus.
3. Team management skill with bring up ability, coach and support subordinators for continuous improvement and dare to change and lead team to make it happens to ensure optimization in operation
4. Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication skills and even better listening skills that will enable you to understand your colleagues as well as our company culture.
5. High sense of responsibility, proactive attitude and independent, good interpersonal skills, result oriented, familiar with ERP system is a must
6. Analytic mindset and strong problem solving skills.

7.   Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
