Job Description

Do you have a passion for ServiceMax and SalesForce.com and the benefits they can deliver to an organization? We are seeking an individual with great communication skills and experience effectively driving the use of ServiceMax on the Force.com platform to achieve Field Service Operational Excellence.  

 

Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of related experience supporting ServiceMax, along with Salesforce.com.

 

As a ServiceMax System Administrator you will focus on the administration of ServiceMax, supporting our Service professionals both in-house and in the field.  The configuration of ServiceMax along with its technical underpinnings will be your responsibility. Perform all tasks related to the day-to-day operations of a large implementation of ServiceMax including but not limited to managing users, creating and maintaining custom objects and fields, handling bulk data migration, maintenance of page layouts and installation.  Responsible for the communication and training plans, including delivery of training.

Manage a fast-paced queue of support tickets, driving all issues to resolution with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and efficient task execution.

Interact with Project management of a large scale ServiceMax implementation including the integration supporting Apps.

Assist in the configuration and maintenance of sandbox environments to facilitate development and QA testing of new features and functionality. Design, build, test and deploy enhancements to “Salesforce” and “ServiceMax” custom objects, page layouts, workflows, alerts, reports and complex dashboards within “Salesforce.”

Participate in the research, selection, set up and support of third-party application tools.

The successful candidate will have solid experience using ServiceMax and Salesforce:

·         At least 3 years’ with ServiceMax experience (configuring, implementing, reporting, testing and training). Experience handling all aspects of CRM & Field Service, case management and platform maintenance preferred.

·         Salesforce.com administration certification preferred

·         At least 3 years’ experience with SalesForce.com

·         ServiceMax Administrator certification preferred

·         Must have excellent project and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups; and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Experience in a Field Service Environment is preferred

·         Six Sigma & Project Management trained is preferred.

·         Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or Related Field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

This position is based in one of Shanghai, China; PerkinElmer, Inc. headquarters; or Field Based.  Relocation assistance or sponsorship will not be provided.

10-20% Travel required: more during the initial implementation
