Main aim of job  

Develop, qualify and define new packaging, with due regard to quality, cost-effectiveness, handling in the material flow and customer/supplier requirements for ensuring the quality of the packaged products during storage, transport and handling as well as reduction in the costs arising.

Support plant logistics in empties management and OCC claim related to packaging.

Central function in CN/LO to take lead in supplier development & packaging training internally.

Close the information gap between central logistics, business division logistics and plant logistics in the specified function.    

Specific duties and responsibilities     

1. Improve and optimize packaging specification internal & external.
2. Source packaging materials and returnable container; create requirements/specifications in procurement, in order to guarantee timely availability of packaging materials.

  3.Create and maintain packaging parts list and drawings, in order to make detailed information available for further process steps.

4. Maintain open and effective communications with plant logistics planners regarding the cost comparison of supplier packaging and improvement of customer packaging during planning, SOP.

5.Support plant logistics concerning packaging problems and their resolutions; coordinate the critical and specified items.

6.Standardize storage systems in plants and optimize material flow between warehouse and production.

7.Collect, drive and facilitate good practices in plants and share with each other on the common platform.
