Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers on various customer projects as our fast-paced business grows and evolves
• Be responsible for customer platform analysis and debug, and support of wide spectrum of Wi-Fi products
• Analyze and clarify customer platform technical issues, identify gaps with existing Quantenna platforms and deliver solutions to close gaps with customers and Quantenna internal teams
• Support customer technical activities, assist in SW / WiFi performance debug & troubleshooting as well as bring up of customer platforms and help optimize it for best performance from system perspective
• Oversee customer reported issues, consolidate them into a resolution plan, and continuously improve and innovate Quantenna products / solutions
• Educate, train and support customer and other team members on Quantenna’s solution
• Build and maintain a good relationship with customers and prospects and local management of customers’ projects
• Synchronize projects with Sales and Marketing Organizations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline is required. Master’s degree is preferred
• 8 years’ experience in a customer facing engineering role
• Strong English written and oral communication skills with good interpersonal skills
• Expert C/C++ and Linux shell script developer with strong problem-solving skills
• Familiar with wireless Mesh network is a plus
• Comfortable with embedded Linux software development environment
• Solid Driver debug and testing skills
• Solid understanding of IEEE 802.11 and IEEE 802.3 Protocols
• Experience in troubleshooting 802.11 issues via wireless packet analysis is a plus
• Experiences with Wi-Fi stack and application software (OpenWrt, DD-WRT, Android and etc.) development and debugging
• Experience in designing, developing, optimizing and maintaining networking and wireless products – include, but not limited to - wireless routers, residential gateways, set-top-boxes, repeaters and extenders, and other Wi-Fi products
• Strong knowledge of networking and Wi-Fi product software building blocks – bootloader, device driver, networking stack, application software, and Wi-Fi protocols
• Experience in managing multiple projects
• Must be self-driven, yet accept directions. Take initiative and drive issues to closure with customers and across teams in Quantenna
• Travel and on-site customer support
