Job Function Be part of the exciting team in Shanghai working on cutting edge Android Smartphone product development. As a system test engineer you are responsible for the end product quality of the QRD smart phones. Responsibility includes, with an emphasis in multimedia area, working with software development team to define feature and functional requirements; designing test cases for function, performance, stability and usability verifications; driving the software development with issue fixes was well as new feature enhancements. You need to be able to conduct tests with priorities, helping development team identify issues and root causes, providing timely test reports to project and development teams, and helping to develop test automation scripts.

Responsibilities

Skills/Experience At least 3 years of handset software development or test experience, Android Software or Qualcomm platform experience is a plus

Experiences in testing multimedia applications, including audio, graphics, video, and streaming, etc.

Good understanding of the performance evaluations in one of the following areas: audio quality evaluation, image processing , image or video quality evaluation, streaming quality evaluation, LCD display performance evaluation, touch panel performance evaluation.

Complete Product test cycle experience or automation test design and development knowledge is a plus

Strong interest and background in Linux / Android software system is desired

Strong interest and background in Script programming such as PERL, Python for test and automation is desired

Knowledge of streaming protocol and voice over IP in wireless environment, or knowledge of audio quality testing algorithms/methodologies (PESQ, or others) is desired

Must be a self-motivated, creative and initiative individual with strong interest in trouble shooting and taking on new challenges

Education Requirements BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
