Mechanical R&D Engineer
Educational background
B. Sc. Mechanical Engineering or higher
Skills
- Preferred 3 - 5 year experience within field of mechanical machine design and R&D development projects.
- Preferably strong refrigerant process technology Knowledge, flammable and none flammable refrigerants.
- Sheet metal design and machining technology knowledge.
- Good documentation skills, generating mechanical production drawings and R&D test reports.
- Strong English verbal and writing skills.
- 3D CAD software skills (SolidWorks 2011 and / or Catia V5 R19)
- 2D CAD software skills (AutoCAD 2013)
- Solid experience in MS Office.
Job description
- Design sheet metal cabinets and mechanical components for new product line of refrigerant charging equipment used in the Appliance industry.
- Specify, select and test components from local supplier.
- Performance test new product line according to product specification and analyzes test data.
- Generate product documentation from initial product specification to finalized test and performance test reports.
- Develop new cost effective mechanical designs in order to reduce cost and optimize manufacturing and serviceability.
