Job Descriptions:

Work closely with German TPM, Suppliers, Business coordinator, and solve technical issue, improve supplier quality, monitor/document supplier corrective actions, develop suppliers capabilities, and deploy the best practices.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Carry out supplier evaluation base on the company sourcing & quality requirements;

- Effectively involve in project/product from project starting point, well communicate with German TPM team on the   market/customer expectation;

- Work closely with supplier on project/product risk analysis with supplier, and help supplier on effective corrective/improvement plan;

- Review and complete quality documents such as drawing, testing report, quality standards, quality control plan, sign/control the sealing sample;

- Follow up closely with suppliers to handle quality complaint (identify root causes & corrective actions);

- Maintain direct & efficient supervision of supplier quality/performance management, evaluate supplier overall quality performance, and drive for supplier continuous improvement; 

 

Skills and Abilities:

- Strong problem solving and creative communication skills are required for this position;

- Strong quality abilities in driving for suppliers continuous improvement, lean/six sigma experience preferred;

- Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and technical drawing;

- Strong knowledge on Europe furniture test protocol;

- Strong ability to manage work schedule independently and efficiently;

- flexible for traveling;

 

Knowledge, Experience, and Education:

- 5+ years of experience as Supplier Quality Engineer or Manufacturing Process Engineer with a Quality emphasis;

- 5+ years of hands-on wood finish experience, Indoor and Outdoor furniture;

- Education: B.S. in Engineering, B.S. in Industrial Technology;

- Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese are required;
