Role and responsibilities:

There are numerous roles Strategists fulfill beyond campaign planning in the development of clients, staff, our product and our reputation.

 

1. New Business

   • Ability to support the strategy process for new business pitches

   • Ability to bring all agency and network resources to bear on pitches

   • Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative research data to come up with sharp consumer and business insight

 

1. Comms Planning

   • Work with media planning team to identify strategic requirements and specific opportunities by client

   • Help media planning team to inventive & dynamic communication strategies through collaborative working with the agency resources, client, planners and agency partners

   • Be familiar with advertising & marketing best practices & have your own POV of the brand implications

   • Good at generate creative ideas & judge ideas for their potential to deliver strategy.

   • Present to clients with confidence & conviction

   • Ensure plans and activation are on strategy & focused on business outcomes

2. Protecting our high standards

   • Contribute to internal initiatives to inspire and educate the agency

   • Ensure that any work that leaves the agency is of the highest standard

   • Be part of producing ideas that inspire, motivate, engage and create commercial action

   • Be part of producing award winning work

   • Always challenge “mediocrity”

 

Experience required:

• 3～4 years of media or communications planning experience in China. Deep understanding to local culture. Experience in digital will be an important added value.

• Creative minded

• Understand media fundamentals

• Good understanding of the broad market place

• Strong client facing communication & presentation skills

• Constantly creative, curious and critical in approach

• Excellent team player – ability to work with diverse set of people and skills

• Fluent in Mandarin and English
