Job Description

Work within a team of test engineers that develop and execute customer applications driven test cases designed for system-level validation of the G30/7100/mTera OTN DWDM Optical Transport System.  Responsibilities include the following:

- Setup of the test environment, design, coding, debugging and execution of manual test scripts in a new product development environment.

- Develop Test Plans that are formally reviewed and implemented.

- Report project status and document product defects discovered. Validate fixes of product defects when they are delivered from the Development team. 

REQUIREMENTS

- Electric Engineering/Computer Science/Telcomunication or associate major

- Be familiar with SDH/OTN/DWDM optical network techknowledges. 

- TCP/IP, Routing protocal, Open Source frame work based knowledges. 

- Automation scripts skills: Python/TCL/Perl scripts experience preferred.

- Strong debugging and problem solving skills with the ability in quick learning and independent work.

- Knowledge of Linux/UNIX environments 

- Good English communication skills in both verbal and written formats are required.

- Must be self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision within a team environment.
