1. Preparation of rough concepts calculations during the acquisition or localization of projects.
2. Simultaneous Engineering with the development and customer teams of the business division in order to get an easy and cost efficient manufacturable process.
3. Investigate and provide detailed assembly concepts (standardization requirement) for production in collaboration with the local team, the plant and the SPT/SFP colleagues in Germany for customer-specified products delivered to all brose plants Asia wide.
4. Ensure the quality requirements through the use of methods like P-FMEA, PEP, Poka-Yoke, Capability studies,…
5. Create the IE timing plan and coordinate the activities with all interfacing functions.
6. Maintain continuous communication with internal and external customers to adress requirement and concerns (customer change requests, quotations, quality items, …). Handle customer concerns (related to IE) and ensure immediate solution and execution of issues.
7. Create the specifications, related to the released concept. Focus on dependencies within the processes and the cycle time balancing and follow the design and manufacturing of the equipment with external suppliers/vendors.
8. Issue procurement requests and maintain all IE-related SAP data, such as M-BoM and rate routings for the dedicated project and transfer the information to the interfacing teams in Shanghai and in the production plants.
9. Install and launch the equipment in the asia locations and handover the equipment to the production plant after completion of all project requirements.
10. Evaluation and implementation of technical modifications during the project and the serial phases, either due to innovations and improvements of the processes or due to product and/or condition changes (volumes, variants) in collaboration with the SFP/PT team as well as with the IE in the production and the colleagues in Germany.

-Bachelor Degree Technical Engineering
-Knowledge in: assembly technology in general, project management and cost-calculation and –comparison, FMEA and Auto Cad; preferably trained in the standard method MTM-SD
-The position requires a close cooperation with colleagues worldwide. He/she needs to be capable of reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Further he/she must write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals and as well present effectively information to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
-The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists is the very basic condition.
