SUMMARY
Take the major responsibility for Software/Firmware quality assurance for enterprise products. And assure the system level's quality for prototype sample deliverables. Drive the innovation and continuous improvement within Jabil Circuit by harnessing new design technologies and methodologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

Work with Software and Firmware development groups to get well understood of the SW / FW and system requirements.
Monitor and audit the SW / FW development & release and testing process.
Optimize the SW/FW development and test process, procedure, guideline.
Support SW/FW development groups for SW/FW RCAs.
Prepare the specific SWQA test plan, test script
Research & optimize test environment, test tools and test methodologies, analyze results from test execution:
- To improve the existing test definition
- To increase the testing efficiency and efficacy of further testing
- To update the program team on status and progress
External software or firmware release and version control
Review test results with project team members and managers
Attend functional and technical review meetings as appropriate.

Person Background:
Candidates should have 5 or more years experience in SW/FW validation industry
Also the following essential qualifications and experiences would be requested:
a) Bachelor or Master in Electronics, computing, software engineering or similar
b) Good English speaking and literacy
c) Good background on software and firmware development
d) Good knowledge of software engineering
e) Working knowledge of high-end and enterprise computing product's system architecture.
f) Good background on BIOS, BMC, SAS and system integration testing.
g) Working knowledge of Linux network management including network service configuration, storage management and LAN building etc.
h) Good knowledge of the QA theory for failure analysis.

Jabil Technology Services (JTS) is comprised of three subgroups: Design Services, Global Test Services and Advanced Manufacturing Technology. Together, JTS delivers advanced product technology solutions that reduce overall costs throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Design Services (DS)
Design Services offers comprehensive product development from basic printed circuit board layout to complex product designs. We work closely with Jabil Business Units, Workcells and customers to quickly progress concepts into volume production. In addition, we incorporate vital Design for Manufacturability (DFm) and Design for Testability (DFt) guidelines that reduce production costs and increase product quality.

Our Design capabilities include electrical engineering, software engineering, PCB layout, mechanical engineering, industrial design, tooling engineering, and quality assurance.

We currently maintain product competencies in networking, servers and storage, mobile and wireless products and consumer electronics.

Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT)
Advanced Manufacturing Technology provides customer and sales support, systematic training, equipment and process capability studies, implementation support and technology roadmaps for advanced manufacturing, test and failure analysis processes and emerging product technologies.

Global Test Services (GTS)
Global Test Services provides test development and support for all Jabil manufacturing facilities.
