Major Responsibilities
? Conducting Environmental Compliance Inspections (regulations and best practices) on annual basis unless third party Environmental Audit is conducted
? Conducting Health & Safety Audits and Inspections, as required
? Provide technical support to facilities, including training, orientation and advice on EHS issues
? Review third party compliance reports to ensure formal and technical accuracy; manage third party auditor consistency and quality.
? Track accident information data from facilities for reporting.
? Follow-up of action plan items and requested corrective actions at least quarterly.
? Maintain organized files as required in both electronic and hard copy format relating to reports, communication, confidential memos on EHS facility related issues.
? Collaboration with the global E & HS teams with regards to new internal standards and new systems to be implemented
? Other duties as required
Requirement:
? Minimum 5 years progressive experience in environmental, health and safety activity in an industrial setting or consulting to industry .
? Fluency (written and spoken) in Chinese and English required
? Sound knowledge of Chinese EHS regulations relevant to industry ;
? Compliance auditing or training experience strongly preferred
? Familiarity with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems
? Positive, pro-active, energetic and professional
? Detail oriented, self-motivated and works as a team player
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills
