The Failure Analysis Engineering group is looking for a technically qualified candidate to help analyze customer returns (systems and replaced parts), determine failure root causes, drive close loop preventive & corrective actions to continuously improve our supply quality, manufacturing process to the real life customer experience. We are looking for an individual with direct experience in dealing with and understanding LitePoint customer issues who can then bring these experiences into the manufacturing process, supplier quality improvement, to reduce issues typically seen by the customer.

1. Perform failure analysis of systems and parts returned from customer and/or service department.

2. Reproduce and analyze the root cause of the fail, liaise with PQE, suppliers and design/process engineers to help identify containment and/or corrective actions.

3. Drive close loop corrective actions.Perform risk analysis based on available data.

4. Document the results and generate high quality customer ready failure analysis reports.

5. Analyze the historical data and provide continuous feedback to various functional groups.

6. Develop methods, processes and procedures and equipment that will improve the failure analysis process and/or reduce failures.

1. 3 ~ 5+ years of work experience in failure analysis, design, or engineering of wireless/RF products;

2. Strong knowledge in RF circuitry theory of operation, and applications. E.g. PA, LNA, Mixer, PLL, etc.

3. Working knowledge of various failure analysis tools and techniquesEngineering Lab experience preferred, with progressive hands on testing, and data analysis;

4. Connectivity and Cellular test system and or application knowledge is highly desirable.

5. A team player with tactful communication skills.

6. Good command of English and Chinese language.

7. A persistent attention to detail, and a high level of comfort in working with both the tactical and strategic activities.

8. Work under pressure and flexible to take challenge.

9. BSEE Required, MSEE Preferred.
