Technical and Sales Support Engineer

Rexel specializes in electrical products for buildings, infrastructure projects and industry: power distribution, industrial control, automation, lighting, cable systems, and many others. Our ambition in China is to bring to the players of the Chinese electrical market a higher level of service and competitiveness through turning complexity into simplicity for customers: product selection according to your needs, order, delivery and after sales.

Rexel, who is headquartered in France, have been in China since 2000 and operates a sales network of 40 branches through its six operational entities throughout China, with a 2011 turnover of 300 million ? supported by 700 employees.

Our International Accounts Department focuses of giving the best service and supply to our international customers in China. Through high level communication and understanding of our customers’ needs and wants are we able to serve this market.

In order to increase our service level we are looking for a technical support engineer for our International Accounts department in Shanghai.

We offer a good job in a fast growing and service oriented company. You will work closely together with our account managers, sales engineers and our customer service people in order to secure the best supply to our customers.

Job Description

· Support our customers with technical knowledge, training and solutions

· Work together with our sales staff to provide quality service to our customers

· Work together with sourcing team for equivalence and localization of products

· Be able to go on site for technical support or small audit

· Be involved in sales projects from start to finish

· Helping customers solve issues in regards to our products

Profile

· Background in electrical engineering

· Relevant university background

· Good technical and analytical skills

· Excellent understanding of electrical components – power distribution, cables, industrial control and automation(large scope of products and applications)

· Able to go on site support and talk to engineering people.

· Out-going personality – able to establish good and open relationship with customers and co-workers

· Curious and always be updated on new electrical technology / products

· Good command of English – oral and written (CET 6 level)
