Job Objective

• To develop T&O strategy based on the bank’s strategic goals, as well as to drive and monitor the implementation

Principal Responsibilities

• To assist SPS team to achieve the following:
• To assist in formulating T&O strategy, such as budget and target, along the bank’s strategic goals, and to assist in driving the implementation of strategy across T&O and fine-tune the plan if necessary
• To facilitate effective use and allocation of T&O headcount resource through analysis of ops capacity and measurement of performance. Drive, plan operation cost and headcount budget by function/team to meet business priorities and long-term objectives of the Bank. Bridge among various stakeholders from business lines, finance, technology & operations and other departments on budget planning. Close monitor/tracking to ensure both cost and headcount within budget
• To drive productivity gain of each teams within T&O through process simplification, automation, organization optimization to improve processing efficiency and deliver target saving.
• Planning, tracking and provide status update on T&O scorecard KPI milestones, risks and issue in internal communication and implementation.
• Drive, manage and support projects. Support MIS reporting verification.

Education and Relevant Experience

• Bachelor degree
• Understanding of banking operations preferred
• A minimum 4 years of experience in strategy planning and/or project management
• Data analysis, finance experience preferred
• Good communication skills in Chinese and English (verbal and written)
• Good analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Office, especially on Excel and PowerPoint
