Sourcing Manager, GSMC Functional Procurement Sourcing (Snr. Asso.,Technology & Operations)

Job Responsibilities:

• Expand GPS value proposition beyond TCO reduction, to provide broader support for business objectives
• Improve vendor pool to drive strategic value for DBS spend, including supply risk mitigation, emerging technology access and innovation
• Pivotal role for DBS to acquire and maintain sourcing capabilities with deep domain expertise and supply market insights for the marketing spend categories
• Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and conduct sourcing activities/negotiations with suppliers, to steer favorable outcomes in line with organizational objectives
• Own and build strong relationships with key internal customers and suppliers
• Drive and deliver supply chain value and risk management through partnership and early engagement with key stakeholders in understanding business needs and market trends
• Support category manager in the formulation and deployment of category management strategies
• Increase GPS spend influence and delivering value through stakeholder and supplier engagement
• Deliver savings or cost avoidance in accordance with agreed targets and definitions
• Maintain service levels and internal customer satisfaction for the service provided

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree;
• 2-3 years of Media buyer experience including ATL, BTL, PR and Digital Marketing;
• Media planning and buying expertise across all forms of media including paid, earned and owned;
• Experience on negotiating contracts with agencies and vendors, develop RFX template based on stakeholders’ scope, vendor evaluation;
• Core Competency
• Impeccable integrity coupled with strong ownership of goals and a will-to-win
• Service-oriented with the ability to interact with all levels with good presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and develop strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
• Good acknowledgement on the practices of category procurement and forming strategic methodology to increase bargain power with the suppliers
• Technical Competency
• Marketing function procurement, specific knowledge such as Media Buy, Events, PR and digital marketing.
• Category management and spend analysis methodologies
• Vendor selection and vendor performance management
• Tender and RFX processes
• Contract management
• Banking/FMCG <Marketing>, regulatory and compliance knowledge
