Job Title: Logistics Administrator

Key Purpose of the Job:

  

The Analyst, Customs Trade Compliance will have responsibility to monitor and ensure Customs compliance routine data validation, maintenance and operational execution to support business needs in local country market and or APAC markets when applicable. This position is also assigned to engage and support new processes, initiatives and projects within general customs trade and Supply Chain area.

  

Key Area of Responsibility: 

  

• Compile and evaluate information and adopt efficient judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations and standards

• Provide HTS and Duty Rate assignment for all brands and product lines, facilitate duty optimization program

• Ensure the correct HTS, COO and Valuation of imports and support the valuation rulings agreed with local customs authority

• Ensure all operating systems, files and databases relevant to import/export activities are operating in compliance

• Oversee programs and procedures to optimize utilization of Free Trade Agreements and other duty reductions scheme

• Conduct customs trade related data analysis to enhance database quality and reconciliation in SAP & NGC & offline product list information etc

• Analyse information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems efficiently

• Maintain, consolidate and validate Customs entry filing paperwork and or soft data files to ensure smooth declaration

• Maintain and prepare the necessary files when compliance audits are announced by customs authority

• Maintain and compile financial reporting on duties and savings

• Communicate with internal teams, brokers, vendors to deliver the deliverables

• Fulfil ad-hoc assignments as required

• Engage Global Trade Management (GTM ) Asia Project and provide local or regional implementation support

                          

    

  

Minimum Relevant Experience:  3 years

  

• Diploma in Business, Finance or Supply Chain and 2 plus years relevant and progressive experience.

• Relevant working experience in customs trade compliance areas.

• Apparel/footwear industry experience is desired.

• Experience/understanding of business operations.

Others:

  

• Solid knowledge and experience in business process

• Solid ERP e.g. SAP knowledge, GTM system and working experience

• Global Trade Management ( GTM ) system experience is preferred

• Language skills: fluency in English, practical knowledge of Cantonese or Korean or Japanese is a plus

• PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
