职位描述
Job Responsibilities
Working with the company Strategic Global Sourcing, Project Teams and the manufacturing partners, administer all RFQ as follows:
Answer questions from manufacturing partners
Provide incomplete or additional documentation
Confirm accuracy and completeness of quotations
Verify BOM component prices / Carrier Electronics contract component prices
Negotiate with component suppliers
Negotiate with manufacturing partners
Review and submit for approval component localization proposals
Track and implement component localization proposals
Track and ensure timely implementation of PCN/FN's
Working with Strategic Global Sourcing, Engineering and manufacturing partners, administer cost savings projects aimed at reducing cost by 5% each year.
Develop and submit plan for year-over-year cost savings
Track and implement year-over-year cost savings
Working with Logistics, assist with scheduling and/or critical delivery issues.
Expedite components
Expedite finished goods
Resolve import/export issues
SGS (Strategic Global Sourcing ) Office Administration Requirements
Track and report component and finished goods spend
Track and report component and finished goods savings.
Qualifications
Four-year college degree (China equivalent) in a business related discipline
Two years experience in a manufacturing or supply management environment
Language skills (verbal and written) in Chinese and English
Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, Outlook)
Ability to interpret and translate engineering documentation (i.e. engineering drawings and specifications, bills of material, etc.).
Reliable transportation
Ability to travel throughout China / once a year to the USA
