Aspect Gaming is seeking a talented Art Director to lead the design efforts for it gaming products. We are looking for an extremely creative and skilled individual who is highly proficient with a variety of art production methodologies including but not limited to 3D modeling and animation. The ideal candidate will be an excellent teacher and mentor, possessing the ability to bring out the best in his or her staff of artists. The Art Director must have the ability to rapidly storyboard concepts to successfully communicate ideas to a variety of audiences. Additionally, the Art Director is a hands-on contributor with the ability to create high-quality 2D and 3D assets for use in a Flash game engine.

Responsibilities:

? Manage and mentor a team of artists.
? Develop all graphics, including help screens, animated characters, and symbols.
? Design and produce appealing and user-friendly game environments and interfaces.
? Produce all artwork within technical and design parameters.
? Work smoothly with engineers and producers in a technical environment.
? Deliver all art assets on time.

Qualifications:

? Must possess expert proficiency with Photoshop and Illustrator.
? Top-notch artistic and creative skills.
? Thorough understanding of art production processes for games.
? Outstanding illustration skills.
? Minimum 3 years experience producing computer game art or equivalent.
? Minimum 2 years formal art and graphics software training.
? Understanding of file size optimization.
? Must be organized and systematic in approach to tasks.
? Strong, open communications skills required.
? Requires positive attitude for an energetic start-up environment.
? Thorough understanding of Chinese culture.
? Fluent in Mandarin with the ability to read and write simplified Chinese characters.

Pluses:

? 3D modeling and rendering program expertise.
? Character and cartooning skills.
? Experience designing user interfaces.
? Fluent in Cantonese with the ability to read and write traditional Chinese characters.
? Thorough understanding of Flash and ability to write Flash ActionScript.
? Have a passion for gaming.
