PRIMARY FUNCTION

Enhance Target's reputation through responsible sourcing by defining expectations for our business partners.
Partner with headquarter and overseas sourcing counterparts, sustainability and compliance teams, fabric suppliers and 3rd party auditors to monitor, track and elevate the performance of our supply chain.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Act as the primary contact for internal & external counterparts.

· Provide supplier evaluations and laboratory certification status to appropriate internal partners, and work on key reporting needs

· Monitor the re-evaluation of mills, laboratory certification status, and implementation of MSIP

· Coach and train suppliers on Target procedures and processes.



JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Degree/diploma in Textiles or equivalent work experience.

· 4 years experience in textile manufacturing or 3rd party evaluators/laboratories

· Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving abilities

· Ability to work independently, and under general direction

· Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills.

· Good negotiation, interpersonal and leadership skills

· Team player

· Knowledge of mill manufacturing and 3rd party lab

· Availability to travel



DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:

Retailer, textiles with strong technical background
Have knowledge and experience of environmental& social compliance laws, quality control processes.
Working experience in textile product testing and fabric manufacturing
