职位描述


Purpose

To support the region’s distribution channel strategy in addition to product design and management. This includes fare product performance monitoring and sales operation management.

The role is a key contact point for important internal stakeholders (for example local sales teams, GGT, Head Office departments) to assist in the implementation of new initiatives and continuous improvement on existing products as well as being actively involved in nationwide sales campaign preparation and evaluation.

 

 

Key responsibilities and tasks

 

Fare Product Design and Management

  • Help execute and support the region’s fare product strategy in keeping a diverse range of offerings to different passenger segments
  • Monitor product utilisation and payment collection of all nationwide fare products (e.g. Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions, student, groups, summer camp, charters), design and review offerings and sales procedures regularly to remain relevant in the market
  • Act in the overall interest of the region and present comments and suggestions on topics related to fare product offering and distribution
  • Conduct regular benchmarking of fare products available in the region and share insights with Head Office and local teams
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of fares sent to Revenue Management Office and Mumbai Service Centre or to Guangzhou Guo Tai Office (the standards expected to ensure this are defined in the Minimum Fare Checker User Manual)

 

Campaign Preparation and Evaluation

  • Prepare fare proposals for regional and nationwide promotions and campaigns, primarily focusing on boosting digital sales,
  • Communicate campaign details to relevant parties in advance for their further action
  • Analyse and evaluate effectiveness of each campaign organised by the Central Sales Team

 

Change Management and Project Coordination

  • Champion both Head Office and locally initiated projects aiming to enhance current state of sales and channel distribution
  • Provide backup support on other administrative matters related to sales channel distribution
  • Any other reasonable task as required

 

E&A

  • Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required

 

 

Qualifications / Experience

 

Academic qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline

 

Knowledge, skills, training and experience

  • A minimum of two years’ recent experience in airline sales, pricing, ticketing or distribution
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Demonstrable experience in Global Distribution System, platform distribution landscape or sales operations is a distinct advantage
  • Strong acumen in marketing and sales
  • Proven numeracy and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good level of PC literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Adapts to embrace constant change

Our background

Cathay Dragon, an affiliate member of oneworld, is a Hong Kong-based international airline, and a member of the Cathay Pacific Group.
