Responsibilities: develop high-performance analog/mixed-signal/logic/clocking circuits for analog-to-digital converters in CMOS technologies at all levels. Job duties include developing topology and specifications for analog building blocks for ADCs; perform multi-level design verifications and design quality/integrity checks; supervise mask designers on physical implementation of converter circuits; monitor junior engineer, and participate in silicon evaluation to ensure design work meet design specifications in silicon.

Qualification: MSEE or PhD required, at least 5 years of direct experiences in ADC designs including time-interleaved or non-time-interleaved SAR ADC or pipeline ADC, residue amplifiers, high performance OPAM, switched-capacitor DAC and S/H circuits, low jitter clocking circuitry, high performance input buffer, high speed comparator, and ADC calibration algorithm and implementation; strong analytical skills and silicon evaluation skills; knowledge in adaptive signal processing and/or communication systems is a plus.
