Job Summary:
The major areas covered are to develop and manage manufacturing process & work standards and tools, to prepare and implement pilot production for new products, to manage manufacturing standards (M-BOM, Work standards, Standard time, Routing)

Key/Primary Responsibilities:

？ New Product Introduction
a) Do cost analysis, assembly process design, facilities and production system design
b) Prepare tooling and production equipment
c) Standard time, routing and AP-BOM (VPM, SAP) set up
d) Issue and maintain work instruction sheet and self-inspection sheet
e) Train assembly worker
f) Manage pilot production and improvement feedback, follow up
g) Implement pre-serial machine production

？ Quality improvement
a) Process: Problem solving, following product audit, fool proof installation etc
b) Field: Troubleshooting for quality
？ Shop floor improvement planning and implementation
a) Process and Layout to achieve sound LOB,
b) Line investment analysis
c) Facility and equipment study to improvement production capacity target
d) Jig & fixture drawing and improvement (capable for mechanical calculation)
？ ECN implement (maintain instruction sheet and AP-BOM)
？ Development and maintenance of Volvo Production System
？ Other work assigned by ME Manager/ supervisor

Candidate Profile

Professional Experience
？ At least 3 years’ experience in heavy industry
？ Experience in manufacturing engineering or R&D preferred
Personal Qualifications
？ Knowledge
？ Overall knowledge for manufacturing engineering (process design, improvement, quality improvement)
？ Overall knowledge for technical field (drawing reading, jig & fixture design, machine, hydraulic, electric/electronic etc)
？ Skills
？ Available for 3-D, 2-D CAD knowledge (AUTOCAD, CATIA)
？ Excellent problem solving ability in the process of production activities
？ Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
？ Good character & high competence
？ Developed analytic ability and trouble shooter
？ Good computer skills (Ms-office)


？ Possess core competencies of Volvo


Education
University or above, major in Engineering ,mechanical or electric engineering

Languages
Sound English skills both written and spoken
