Job Summary: Production planner

Key/Primary Responsibilities:

1. Production planning

- Set/ adjust planning parameters: lead time, safety stock. time fences shrinkage factors .( demand/ planning )

- Manage MPS & MRP

- Periodic planning: firm planned order. weekly monthly

- Capacity planning : long term direct manpower planning by month

- Resolve exception messages

- Production performance analysis

- Operation and maintain MOM system.

2. order handling

- Sales order receiving from B/L order desk

- Sales order allocation in MRS

- Perform ATP ( available to promise) to sales company and / or dealer

- Order change receiving from B/L order desk

- Confirm promised delivery date to customer

3. Handle other work assigned by Production Planning Manager

Candidate Profile

Professional Experience

Business oriented person with at least 1 or 2 years experience in related field

Personal Qualifications

Knowledge

Good knowledge of products

Skills

PC controlling skills

Communication and interpersonal skills

Ability of problem solving and analysis

No restriction for oversea business trips

Possess core competencies of Volvo

Education

Junior college's degree in industrial engineering .

Languages Requirement

Sound of English skills both written and spoken .
