JOB FUNCTIONS & PURPOSE
？ Based on the understanding of the CBTC product requirements, software development engineer is responsible for the software requirement analysis, design, and coding for the software development part of the product.
？ Coordinate with validation &verification engineer; provide technical support for all the activities during validations and verifications.
？ Coordinate with site deployment engineer; provide technical support for site issue investigation, analysis and resolutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
？ Analyses customer (internal / external) requirements by using company standardized methodology e.g. CENELEC 50128 Matrix.
？ Generates and maintains the design documents, technical specifications under the change control and configuration management
？ Designs, programs and integrates software source code by using company standardized methods and under the change control and configuration management.
？ Designs the procedures for software unit tests, module/component tests, software acceptance tests and executes the tests, by using company standardized methods and under the change control and configuration management.
？ Trouble shoots and prepares problem reports

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT
？ University B.A degree or above
？ 3 Years (minimum) software development experience, participating in real-time vital critical software development lifecycle
？ C language, embedded system is a must
？ Good interpersonal skills, writing and verbal skills, people supervision skills
？ Self-discipline, self-organize and stable performance under pressure/setbacks
？ Fluent in English Writing and Reading
？ Familiar with signaling system and software architecture is a preference
