ROLE
Project Quality
- Ensure that the Offer quality is built-in to reach the Satisfaction of the future customers
- Guarantee that the Voice of Customer is well collected and analyzed in order to provide robust and ranked customer requirements to the project team
- Ensure that all customer requirements are well taken in account from Open to Close and provide all means to get them protected in PEP
- Support, coach the team on methods and quality tools needed to reach Robustness, Customer satisfaction and Quality targets (Lean Six Sigma, DFSS, etc.)
- Make sure that risk identification, assessment and mitigation plan are managed and updated in the project (assist the Project Manager, or lead by delegation)
- Guarantee the best application of the Offer Creation Processes and the collaborative and function processes (ex: SSQM)
- Establish the Project Quality Plan (inside the Project Management Plan), get its validation, and lead its execution
- Make the synthesis on lessons learned on product development
- Define Offer Quality Goals
Customer interaction
- Manage the Customer Satisfaction and Quality (CS&Q) for customer Accounts
- Act as a single point of contact for Account Managers in their Business portfolio about quality problems
- Maintain permanent contact with Account Managers in their portfolio about Schneider performance as seen from the customer's eyes
- Act on Customer Business Risk Escalation resolution teams
- Coordinate with all other Offer Quality leader for the resolution of Issues related to its customers
- Ensure containment, corrective, and preventive actions are properly identified and executed for all customer problems
- Network with Offer Quality Leaders in rest of businesses to improve Quality for Customers
ODM/Vendor Quality
- Pilot the containment, corrective and preventive actions to solve the technical part quality issues of the plant using the 8D methodology.
- Check the effectiveness of the supplier actions
- Pilot the qualification of the part through the Part Product Evaluation Plan (PPEP) within the Product Evolution Process (ACCESS, ROHS, etc.) and participate actively to the PPEP with Product Management Process (PMP)
- Monitor supplier quality Performance at the Plan level and reports it
- Participate to the Supplier Approval Module (SAM) process
- Represent Schneider Electric in front of Suppliers for Quality related issues.
- Challenge the Suppliers, train them to improve their performances
- Support New Product Introduction activities at supplier level
- Conduct continuous improvement projects with Suppliers on critical business issues, train / coach suppliers when needed
- Directly manage critical Supplier issues escalated by Customer or Lines of Business
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Engineer (Master Degree) in Electronics, Automation technology, Industrial Electronics, or Industrial Control or equivalent
- You have a strong customer service attitude and you value working in a multi-cultural environment
- You have leadership, change management & project management experience
- You have demonstrated good analytical skills and are able to draw improvement plans
- You speak English, another language is a plus
- You have 3 to 5 years minimum experience in Customer Care or Continuous
Improvement in an R&D context and/or front-office experience dealing with
Customer Satisfaction - A specialized degree in Quality or a 6-sigma certification would be a plus
