SUMMARY OF JOB:

Work as project design lead
and cooling system engineer to develop the standard cooling products or
complete solutions for data center applications according to marketing
requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Actively
  communicating with product manager and transferring marketing requirement to
  product function specification in technical language.

• In charge of in
  cooling architecture design and development of Refrigeration / Air-conditioning
  products. Development and evaluation of different design concepts and cooling
  architectures to arrive best selections

• Cooling
  components definition, selection and qualification.

• Working with
  project manager to make appropriate project and resource plan. Assist the
  project manager to evaluate the project risk and make the mitigation plan
  accordingly.

• Working with
  project manager and industrial lead to make the prototype building plan.

• Participation
  in the proto builds and summary/record the issues discoveried. Working with
  other functions and QA engineer to figure out solutions and make necessary
  design updates.

• Generating
  test plan for functional verification and working with DVT and validation lead
  to make the DVT and validation plan on prototype and cooperating with lab to
  implement the test plan effectively and efficiently.

• Participation
  in creating, reviewing, and upgrading cost and quality based on data from the
  field;

• Completion of
  all project deliverables and design documentations, including Drawing, BOM,
  System Architecture, Product Specification, Functional Spec, WCA, DFMEA, user
  documents and etc.

• Participating
  in the regular meeting with global project team as required

EDUCATION – MINIMUN REQUIRED LEVEL:

• Bachelor degree in thermodynamics, refrigeration, cryogenics Engineering or equivalent,
  advanced degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE
– MINIMUM REQUIRED:

• 5+ years work expericence in HVAC
  industry. Computer room air conditioner design experience is preferred. Knowledge
  of IDAC cooling a plus.

  KNOWLEDGE
  AND SKILLS – REQUIRED:

  
  

• Familiar with project
  management process

• Fluent in Oral and Written English

• Good team work and excellent capabilities
  to coordinate the work in different organization and culture.

• Knowledge on the use of simulation/Mathematical
  modeling for thermodynamic design simulation in product development

KNOWLEDGE
AND SKILLS – DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

• Good knowledge of
  HVAC technology, suppliers and manufacturers. Familiar with computer room AC
  Product, data center cooling solutaitons and key cooling Component.

• Good knowledge on GB, CE and
  UL cooling requirements and related air conditioner industry standards;

  TRAVEL:

• Domestic and international travel as needed
