公司介绍
The French Company Les Tissus Marey SA was founded in 1948 in the "Sentier" area in Paris, heart of the French ready-to-wear industry since the beginning of the 20th century.
Throughout its 40 first yesars, the Company mostly acted as a Fabrices wholesaler, specialized in novelty items.
In the late eighties and early nineties, the Company began evolving in the Production field, buying its raw materials and sub-contracting its manufacturing in the Lyon area in France, worldly famous for its silk items. At the same time it established its own studio, creating fancy and fahionalbe designs to be printed on its fabrics.
With the arising of globalization, the Comapny decided in 2004 to source new printing sub-contractors in China PRC, maintaining its French studio in the heart of European fashion. Today, 99% of the products imported by the Company come from China PRC and the global need for "full-package" service convinced it was time to have its fabrics manufactured into garment in China as well to fulfill its customers' needs and expectations.
This is the context in which its Board of Directors decided on Nov. 12th,2009 to establish a Representative Office in Shanghai, whose goals would be:
> Sourcing and monitoring of Garment factories;
> Production follow-up and quality control on behalf of the Company;
> Logistics support for exporting to Europe the maufuctured goods.
Taking into consideration the size of the French mother company, the Representative Office could quickly hire up to 10-15 people, all Chinese, to achieve the Garment project of the Company.
