Our UK based parent company Aykroyd & Sons Ltd are recognized as the leading supplier of children's licensed character merchandise into the UK, and are proud of our close working relationship with licensors and key personnel within the retail industry.
Our production facilities are based in China, we have many years experience of sourcing. As well as having a network of dedicated partners who produce for us, we own a first class printing plant in Rugao, Nantong. We have a large degree of flexibility enabling us to exactly meet the demands of our customers. We offer exceptional one-off designs and quality products with first class delivery.
Aykoryds (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd is a newly set up company looking for a;
Assistant Garment Merchandiser
? Accountable for the accuracy of delivery information held within customer systems & critical paths.
? Liaise with factories and suppliers on a daily basis to build strong relations.
? Understanding of the styles within the range, suppliers strengths & sample critical path.
? Accountable for the raising of accurate orders & ensuring all price & delivery information is accurate.
? Conducting regular reviews of factory foreseeing any capacity issues & proactively offering solutions & reporting issues to Senior Merchandiser.
? Raising purchase orders accurately within the agreed deadline.
? Ensuring all fabric and components approvals are made to schedule & that production start dates & shipment dates are achieved.
? Organising lab dips both submission and approval.
? Maintain & updating fabric stock schedules when required.
? Identifying any delivery issues that need to be reported to the business.
? Alerting the accounts team to any short or faulty shipments & confirm what action has been agreed with suppliers.
? Factory visits.
The candidate must be able to write and speak a good level of English.
