Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for the timely accurate processing of financial information to deliver financial related information/report for multiple subsidiaries.  To provide reporting information in compliance with PRC GAAP, regulatory practices and company policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the accurate, complete and timely delivery of the financials of the company by directing, assisting and reviewing timely and accurate financial statements, schedules and reports for the subsidiaries in compliance with PRC GAAP, internal controls, Company policies and procedures as required;

2. Direct, assist and review the monthly, quarterly and annual close process for the company with PRC GAAP.  This includes completion of journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure completeness and accuracy;

3. Providing guidance and expertise in analyzing financial data to resolve discrepancies, and provide timely reconciliations of accounting information;

4. Responsible for the financial Reports of Cathay Group according to China Stock Exchange Regulations and rules, ensure compliance with the accounting practice policies and internal control procedures;

5. Supporting the implementation of BW; support the preparation of management reports;

6. Assist in preparation of internal and external audit activities as required.

Key Requirements:

Education: Bachelor Degree required in Accounting, CPA or ACCA a plus.

Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of PRC GAAP as well as PRC stock exchange accounting principles and regulatory practices and highly technical expertise required in accounting ? finance; Working knowledge of accounting systems and software, SAP/BI experience a must; Biochemical or Chemical industry a plus.

Work experience: 5 years accounting manager experience required. Including experience with full cycle accounting processes and consolidation in a China listed company.

Special qualifications: Fluent language skills (both written and verbal) in Mandarin and English.
