POSITION DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prioritizes PC product sales efforts by way of interaction with all sales team members for a defined geographical area. Provides product support to designated accounts of Account Managers in the region and to Third Party Reps servicing other industries.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops sales plans and strategies for covering existing core PC business accounts.
2. Champions sales effort in PC accounts. Maintains relationships with PC customers in region.
3. Trains sales team members and Third Party Reps regarding PC applications, product knowledge and customer/industry needs.
4. Provides product support to Account Managers and Third Party Reps.
5. Creates a schedule identifying ongoing repeat coverage of customers by industry & region for PC products.
6. Communicates with CSR team for generation of quotes, sample requests and literature for a given sales team assignment.
7. Routinely travels to support assigned Account Managers and Third Party Reps in the region.
8. Supports all National Account Managers with needed input and feedback for achieving goals established for targeted customers.
9. Supports the New Business Development effort the company has undertaken.
10. Updates contact management databases; RFQ's; Customer Complaint databases on a regular basis.
11. Achieves all PC sales targets for the assigned region.
12. Completes all reports, monthly summaries, expense reports, etc. in a professional, accurate and prompt manner.
13. Presents a competent, professional image, particularly when calling on customers or performing field assignments. Dresses appropriately for the call. Takes notes during the call. Submits customer RFQ's, engineering services requests, sample requests, etc. as designated by management.
14. Attends seminars, trade shows, regional meetings as assigned or approved by management.
15. Performs other related duties, as assigned.
