The purpose of this role as SD manager is to support Business Development Team in the

achievement of the department’s new business targets in 2018. Key result areas are supporting

on setup solution design capabilities, leading and winning targeted century accounts business,

supporting BD team archieve target, development/implementation of new projects, as well as

development of standardisation and smart solution initiatives for operations team.

Main Responsibility

1 Manage and prepare technical 3PL solutions proposals that include solutions design,

process flow simulations, cost models and perform profit and loss analysis within

customer defined timelines to come to well-conceptualized, optimal logistics solutions.

2 Write up technical and winning logistics proposals for all kinds of projects (distribution

center, export consolidation center, aftersales warehousing, transportation, line feeding

solutions, in-plant services solutions and etc.)

3 Design and execute added-value propositions for commercial team and develop the bestfit

sales presentation

4 Work closely with country management and sales team to present logistics engineering

responses to client's feasibility requests by analysing logistics costs/factors

5 Manage and lead 4PL/ LLP solutions proposals including 3PL procurement, warehouse and

freight transportation rates engineering, and support of solutions presentation to client;

Play a critical role in network solutions design and re-engineering project (e.g. inventory

optimization model) and consultative supply chain solutions development for corporate

strategic accounts.

6 Manage and liaise with logistics and industrial facilities developers, property agencies,

trucking vendors, racking suppliers and MHE suppliers in the Region.

7 Maintain good working knowledge of latest solutions software, industry trends, operation

practices and technology.

8 Support the less experienced team members and provide management of the team in the

absence of the Head of Solution Design; Check/validate Solution Design Engineer’s work

to ensure accuracy and recommend improvements.

9 Conduct solution operational reviews to gain operational and financial sign off.

10 Flexibility in being able to travel to attend company business.
