As a Project Technical Engineer, you will be part of the Industrial Automation Division and Business Unit Marine & Ports (BU) based in Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Industrial Automation (IA) division delivers integrated solutions for control, plant optimization, and industry-specific application knowledge and services to help process industry customers worldwide to meet their critical business needs in the areas of operational profitability, capital productivity, risk management and global responsibility. These industries include oil and gas, power, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, metals, cement, minerals, marine and turbocharging.

Your Tasks as a Project Technical Engineer will include the following:

？ Have main responsibility over the Power/Drive system engineering in specified project.
？ Execute system and detail engineering of Power/Drive system in specified project.
？ Report progress of own area of responsibility in project to Department Manager and Project Technical Manager or directly to Project Manager, if no Project Technical Manager nominated.
？ Work together with other members in project team to achieve timely project delivery.
？ Contact with shipyard, ship-owner, classification societies and other suppliers in project to clarify technical functionality and interfaces.
？ Accomplish required system studies and analysis.
？ Prepare technical documentation.
？ Prepare Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedure and participate product FATs of own area of responsibility.
？ Assist Service Engineers (Service unit) during commissioning in technical matters.
？ Establish good relationship with customers and third parties involved in projects.
？ Support product responsible of defined products, standards, analysis, studies or tools of own area of responsibility.
？ Support/Lead department quality improvement project, sharing experience in the organization.

？ Bachelor Degree or above, major in Electrical & Automation (Marine).
？ Good knowledge in Marine and Offshore Electrical Propulsion System and Electrical propulsion system analysis.
？ Ownership to own area of responsibility and Higher Quality awareness on daily work.
？ Fluent in both written and oral English.
