Responsibilities

1. Responsible for stock analysis and investment recommendations, undetaking robust and rigorous research and analysis of a assigned sector.

2. Recommend and share investment ideas for quilities with other front line professionals within HK, SG & PRC RSCH team.

3. Engage in financial modelling and financial statement analysis of specialty companies; Write research notes on different companies; construct valuation of different companies

4. Engage data analysis and summary to describe current and long term trends in the sector.

Requirements

1. University Degree in Finance or Economics with 1-2 years of experience as an analyst in a reputable stock broking firm

2. Preferably with CFA level 1 or other professional certifications

3. Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must; fluent in Mandarin is preferred

4. Possess good analytical skills both in the qualitative and quantitative methods with the ability to appreciate macro-economic trends

5. Ability to work independently, self-motivated and attentive to details

6. Analytical skill, measured investment judgment, decision-making, intellectual curiosity, intellectual honesty, teamwork, pro-active communication

7. Pro-active in finding new investment ideas as well as thorough in understanding, valuing and maintaining coverage on existing investments

8. This is a demanding job requiring highly motivated individuals who are willing to work hard to build up their knowledge base, performance track record and credibility within the team

9. Fresh Graduate or Candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Analyst
